Thrive Treatment is hiring a Primary Therapist 

Location: Residential Campus in Woodland Hills, CA

Thrive Treatment is a Joint Commission accredited and State-licensed provider of dual-diagnosis, intensive outpatient treatment. We offer a comprehensive, compassionate model of recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders for both adults and adolescents. Job Description and Duties

The  Primary Therapist  will play an essential role in supporting clients throughout their treatment journey, from admission to discharge. They will actively contribute to the development of treatment plans, provide both individual and group therapy sessions, and offer meaningful insights to help clients achieve their recovery goals. This position is located at our residential campus in Woodland Hills, CA, where you will work with a diverse and supportive team of clinicians.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions according to the program schedule
  • Prepare group materials and research new therapeutic tools to include in sessions
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate client charts in KIPU
  • Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and thorough treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure medication management and compliance
  • Communicate with clients' families or other treatment providers to support coordinated care
  • Attend clinical meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing trainings
  • Participate in the development and evolution of Thrive’s programs and services
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive, and productive work environment

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a  Registered Associate with the  Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) .
  • Excellent  communication and  interpersonal skills .
  • Proficient in  MS Office and general EMR systems (KIPU training will be provided).
  • Highly  organized with good time management skills.
  • Ability to work  independently while managing a caseload.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire).
  • Current TB test results (or willing to test upon hire).
  • Current COVID-19 vaccine and boosters required at time of hire.
