You will be joining an over 89 year old, independent, family owned, local, community pharmacy with expansion plans in the works.

We have served our community for years and are excited to find the right person (a Pharmacy Tech or a Resident Pharmacist Type/Pharmacist Intern) and add their skills in collaboration with ours in the expansion and development our increasing clinical services, POC testing & treatments on site, collaborations, travel emphasis, vaccinations, and more.

Accuracy, patient care, and deep consideration of each patient interaction is essential with every interaction, and we are committed to preventing audits with 100% commitment to accuracy.
Additionally, an essential component to this role is organization, time management, taking charge of tasks, and problem solving. You will act as a key leader within the team, assistant, pharmacy manager (if this role turns out to be appropriate for you).
Day to day pharmacy operations. managerial support, and open, honest communications are essential, as you will be leading compliance, credentialing, medicare & medicaid billing, immunization clinics., and meeting all commitments of exceptional pharmacy operations, leadership, policy development, and internal consultation. If you are not up for a challenging role with high expectations, this is not the role for you.
AUDITS. If you are not fully capable of expecting, maintaining, and committed to 100% accuracy in every aspect of rx filling, this is not the role for you. We expect 100% accuracy. If you are weak in an area or perhaps don't know how to do a calculation or task, that's ok...just ask. It's not a problem to ask more than once either. You must be able to identify areas in which you can improve, learn, and accept feedback graciously. If you are not able to make changes or become set in your ways or habits that are not accurate, this is not the job for you.
Audits and errors, inaccuracies. When an inaccuracy or error is identified, your reaction should be concern about the patient or affected result, immediately. You must be problem solving oriented and not be defensive or accusatory (we work together as a team and support one another).

-Current, Unrestricted WA Pharmacy Technician License/WA Pharmacist Intern License/Pharmacist License (Residency)

Responsibilities include:
-Daily duties such as sterilizing and cleaning, organizing, stocking, and other functional duties.
-All data entry, billing, organization, medication prep, cycles, auto fills, individualizing patient preferences, doing updates and providing observations and suggestions, reports, all PAs and regularly follows up on all issues.
-Solves problems and follows up with patients with direct honesty and a sense of urgency.
-Committed to not losing money for the pharmacy.
-Always communicates with your supervisor and presents issues and their solutions in a kind manner.
-Constantly thinks, how can I improve Rankos Stadium Pharmacy, our community, our patients lives and medication burdens. Takes action. Does not put any issue off or delay.
-Documents all actions and steps taken
-Communicates issues and also calls all new patients. Communicates any issue that stops an rx from being filled to patient after discussing with pharmacist first.
-Never says or implies Yes or No, a prescription is ok to fill without first consulting pharmacist.
--Is responsible for follow-up of all non-discretionary issues related to filling prescriptions with Pharmacist oversight.
-Additional leadership and Assistant Management duties for both the pharmacy and front end. -Leadership

Overall:
-Experience with PioneerRx, pharmacy operations, POS, management, OTC & Health and Wellness merchandising, reports, audit knowledge, leadership, and intrapersonal skills are key to success. Precision and mindfulness in budgeting and working within timeframes. A sense of urgency is essential.
-Must provide prompt, precise care and follow up with patients, follow instructions, and communicate and resolve issues they occur. It is essential to follow up with patients immediately and consistently and also accurately perform tasks and duties.
-Exemplifies motivation and drive.
-Does not leave left over work. Asks pharmacist if the time is appropriate to leave before leaving. Does not leave lingering problems, piles, or left over work.
-Treats all others with respect, no judgement, support, gentle kindness, and warmth. Listens and writes what people tell you they want. Follow up.

Store hours are M-F 9 am till 6pm & Sat 10 am till 5 pm
Schedule:
Varies and includes 4 hour shifts, 8+ hour shifts, and other Mon-Sat (some Sundays and other special event days). Ideally the schedule is approx 9 am till 5 pm and occasional Sats 10 am till 2 pm.
Regular meetings, performance evaluations, communication, accuracy and precision in preforming tasks are required. In addition, the candidate must strive to build the business and adapt with kindness and flexibility. The candidate will need to adhere to feedback, high standards, and policies and procedures.
