Title: Korean Translator/Interpreter

Duration: Direct Hire, Permanent

Salary: $80,000 – $87,900

Location: Onsite in Dearborn, MI - Full relocation package provided if needed

Day to Day: A large multi-billion dollar venture in Dearborn, MI is hiring for interpreter/translator. The Translator will be responsible for supporting basic translation of Korean and English languages for all team members across the organization. This interpreter will be responsible for not only verbal translations but also written, as well.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in a professional environment translating verbal and written communication - Korean and English
• Proficient computer skills including word processing spreadsheets, presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
• Familiarity with using the internet for research tasks
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, presentation, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize and effectively manage multiple complex projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment

Daily Responsibilities:

• Designs proposed output formats and monitors output for information accuracy.
• Translates spoken and/or written materials from one language to another.
• Writes or drafts correspondence, reports, documents and/or other written materials.
• Records and/or transcribes minutes of meetings, hearings, dictation, dialogue, etc., and produces document in draft or final format.
• Reviews and/or inspects work for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Enters data into a computer system and retrieves, corrects, or deletes previously entered data.
• Translate communications clearly and accurately, conveying phrasing and intention as it relates to the subject
• Convert dialogue and convey the intent of the original speaker

Compensation:

$80,000 to $87,900 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
