Job Description

Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Family Law Paralegal to join their client's reputable legal team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for family law and a commitment to providing exceptional support to attorneys and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting attorneys in preparing and managing family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and support matters.
  • Conducting legal research and gathering relevant case information and documentation.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and agreements.
  • Organizing and maintaining case files, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions.
  • Managing and prioritizing multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Providing administrative support to attorneys as needed.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.

Requirements:

  • Education requirement is mandatory; a paralegal certificate or relevant degree is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of family law procedures and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, first shift.

Additional Details:

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
