Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for a Director of Caregiver Services for a Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) based in Brooklyn, NY. Qualified candidates will have prior Home Care Human Resources, Recruitment, Training, Employee Relations and Compliance experience at a leadership level, with the ability to oversee and supervise all Caregiver functions and compliance for the Agency.
The Director of Caregiver Services is responsible for overseeing compliance, payroll, recruitment, on-boarding, and training of caregivers and internal staff associated with these functions. This leadership role ensures that operational processes align with federal, state, and local regulations, and fosters a supportive and professional work environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards, including federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as home care licensing requirements. Oversee the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payments to caregivers and staff. Develop and implement effective strategies to attract and retain qualified caregivers. Design and execute comprehensive on-boarding programs for new caregivers. Directly supervise internal staff responsible for compliance, payroll, recruitment, on-boarding, and training functions. Generate reports to monitor caregiver recruitment, training progress, and compliance status. Foster a supportive and inclusive culture for caregivers and staff.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) OR a minimum of 5 years of experience in HR or operational roles in a home care setting.
● Strong understanding of employment laws, payroll systems, and caregiver compliance standards.
