Company Overview:

Ultimate Staffing is assisting one of our amazing clients with a Temp to Hire position for a Receptionist in Massapequa, NY. They are a well-established dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Their team is seeking a reliable, organized, and experienced Dental Receptionist to join their growing practice.

Job Summary:

The Dental Receptionist with Billing and Accounts Payable experience will be responsible for managing front-office duties, greeting and assisting patients, and handling various administrative tasks. In addition, the role requires proficiency in dental billing, insurance verification, and managing accounts payable for the practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Receptionist Duties:

  • Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage appointment calendars, and handle cancellations.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about the practice.
  • Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations (HIPAA).
  • Assist with office inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the smooth functioning of the office.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist.
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g Practice works).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a variety of administrative duties.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Salary:

  • $20/hr - $28/hr based on experience

Schedule:

  • Monday -Thursday 7:30am - 5pm
  • Friday -7:30am -12noon
