Inviting applications for the role of Database Admin

Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin ( 5 days onsite in a week)

Skills

• Extensive experience as a Database Administrator with strong understanding of database administration principles, concepts, and best practices. Proficient in SQL and experience with design, database query optimization and performance tuning.
• Proficient in SQL Server with strong knowledge in Oracle and AWS hosted databases such as Dynamo and PostgreSQL
• Development Tools: Visual Studio, SQL Data Tools, GitHub, Jira/Confluence, Terraform;Data Pipelines
• Cloud: AWS;
• SQL :Postgres, MSSQL;
• Participate in the design and implementation of new database schemas and objects in collaboration with development teams.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, standards, and procedures.
• Assist developers with writing efficient and optimized SQL queries.
• Identify and resolve performance issues through query optimization, index management, and database configuration adjustments.
• Implement and maintain database monitoring tools and alerts.
• Enforce database security policies and procedures.
• Provide timely and effective support for database-related issues reported by users and application teams.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine database administration tasks.
• Certified DBA in any one of the technologies - Microsoft / Oracle
• Secondary Skillset (optional/good to have) - Database: Snowflake; DynamoDB; SSIS/SSRS; Clustering; Data/Server Performance (Windows, Unix, SQL); Knowledge of Google Tools
