Position Summary:

Seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Office Manager to support the administrative and operational needs of our store. This role helps ensure smooth day-to-day office functions, assists with employee coordination, and supports store management with essential clerical and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will be dependable, customer-service focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Office Manager in maintaining accurate store records, including employee timekeeping, invoices, and payroll-related documentation.

  • Support scheduling and time clock maintenance for store staff.

  • Handle daily cash deposits and reconcile register reports with accuracy.

  • Maintain and organize office supplies, equipment, and vendor communications.

  • Greet visitors and support customer service as needed.

  • Prepare internal reports, data entry, and correspondence for store management.

  • Help coordinate employee onboarding and training documentation.

  • Maintain compliance with store policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide backup support for other departments and management during peak times or absences.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business or a related field preferred.

  • 1–2 years of office or administrative experience, preferably in a retail or grocery environment.

  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, cash handling, or retail accounting practices.

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, POS/back-office systems a plus).

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy under pressure.

  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
