The Position

Portable Sales Director for US and Canada. We are seeking a Honeywell sales leader to lead our portable gas detection business. In this role, you will lead and develop a diverse team of Portable Gas Detection Strategic Account Managers and Front-Line Sales Managers, and drive the overall strategy for portable gas detection in the US & Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Results: Exceed revenue and order metrics while balancing margin goals. Ensure 80% of your team achieves 90% or above of their targets and meets KPIs. Accurately forecast orders and growth opportunities.
  • Build a Strong Team: Recruit talent, develop successors, drive retention and engagement, and foster an inclusive culture with a PLI score of 90 or higher. Drive a collaborative, winning culture.
  • Pipeline Creation and Proactive Selling: Ensure your team creates sufficient deals to grow the pipeline to 2X orders AOP. Focus on delivering against expectations, increasing accountability, identifying risks, and enhancing customer experience.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 5 years of sales management experience.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth in a proactive manner.
  • Experience with gas detection and the safety industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Leadership experience managing and motivating teams.
  • Extensive experience in sales, product management, customer relations, or strategic marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify patterns and issues.
  • Decisive, logical decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent planning, execution, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strategic and multi-level thinking.
