Pharmacist

TACT STAFF is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team! As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug information to patients and healthcare professionals, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications according to established protocols and guidelines

• Monitor patient medication therapy and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary

• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety procedures

• Manage inventory and stock medications appropriately

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy program

• Active licensure as a Pharmacist in the state you are applying to

• 1+ years of experience as a Hospital Pharmacist

• Proficient in pharmacy software and technology

• Hospital experience, IV room experience

• Investigational drug experience- verifying orders, inventory management and preparation

• Epic experience
