BetterSeat.ai helps travelers automatically secure better seats on flights—whether that's an aisle, exit row, or upgrade to Main Cabin Extra. We’ve proven demand and validated early traction. Now we’re looking for a technical co-founder to help take us to the next level.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Co-Founder (Technical) who can own the product and technical roadmap, lead development, and help turn a scrappy MVP into a category-defining experience. This is an equity-heavy role, ideal for someone who wants to go deep on a fun problem in travel and build something from the ground up.

What You'll Own

• Full-stack development of the BetterSeat.ai platform (Python/Django backend, modern frontend stack).
• Architecting and scaling LLM-powered workflows
• Shaping technical culture, hiring decisions, and long-term product strategy alongside the founder.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in Python and Django.
• Experience building or integrating with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, vector databases).
• Comfortable shipping independently across backend and frontend (React or similar).
• Pragmatic, product-minded, and entrepreneurial—you’re not just coding, you're helping build the company.
• Bonus if you’ve worked with APIs in the travel ecosystem, SMS/voice platforms like Twilio, or payment systems like Stripe.
