WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify efficiency opportunities, execute improvement projects, and enhance demand and supply planning processes.
  • Evaluate vendor relationships to ensure compliance with quality standards, maintain cost-effective supply chains, and secure uninterrupted product availability.
  • Develop and refine processes for strategic sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution to improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee warehouse and national account inventory management, monitor inventory levels, resolve discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain leadership and warehouse management, to optimize inventory strategies and ensure service excellence.

BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional supply chain experience; management experience and strategic sourcing background preferred.
  • Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiations, vendor management, and process improvement across supply chain operations.
