Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workday Reporting Analyst with a strong background in Workday HCM and advanced reporting capabilities, including Composite and Matrix reports. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing Workday reports to meet business needs, providing insights that drive decision-making, and ensuring data integrity across the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain advanced Workday reports, including Composite, Matrix, and other custom reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Optimize existing Workday reports for efficiency and clarity, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of Workday data.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for Workday reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Support Workday updates, new feature implementations, and system testing as it pertains to reporting functionality.
  • Develop documentation, including report specifications, processes, and user guides.
  • Act as a mentor and resource to junior analysts and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, reporting tools, and advanced reporting features (Composite and Matrix reporting required).
  • Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of HR and Finance business processes.
  • Proficiency in Workday security configurations related to reporting.
  • Experience with Workday Prism Analytics is a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
