Company Overview:

We’re looking for a dynamic, creative, and strategic Social Media Manager to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC . In this role, you’ll lead social media initiatives across a diverse client portfolio, develop compelling strategies, capture onsite content, and guide a team of content creators. This hands-on, fast-paced position is perfect for someone who is both a visionary and a doer, comfortable developing big-picture plans and rolling up their sleeves to bring them to life.

Role Description/ Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute multi-platform social media strategies tailored to each client’s brand, audience, and goals.
  • Capture onsite photo and video content at client locations across Charlotte for use in social campaigns.
  • Identify trends, insights, and opportunities to create relevant, high-impact content.
  • Lead and mentor a team of social media coordinators, content creators, and freelancers.
  • Oversee content calendars, ensuring timely, consistent, and on-brand execution across all platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with design, video, and copy teams to produce cohesive, results-driven campaigns.
  • Manage social media analytics and reporting, adjusting strategies based on performance data.
  • Maintain strong, professional client relationships with clear communication, reporting, and ideation.

Requirements:

  • Must be based in Charlotte, NC, and available for regular onsite content creation at client locations.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in an agency or multi-client setting.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills; experience managing or mentoring a team.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends, and content strategies (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, etc.).
  • Skilled at using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Later, Metricool, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).
  • Creative thinker with strong visual instincts and storytelling abilities.
  • Must have experience with content creation tools like Canva, CapCut, etc.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Photography/videography experience or comfort with content capture tools (iPhone, DSLR, gimbal, etc.).
  • Graphic design or editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.) are a plus.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role.
