Role Summary

Were seeking an experienced and results-oriented SEO Manager to lead organic search strategy and execution across a diverse client portfolio. This role blends tactical execution with team leadership and performance accountability. The SEO Manager will oversee content optimization, keyword strategy, technical audits, reporting infrastructure, and team workflowsensuring our clients websites are fully optimized for visibility, traffic, and lead generation.

Youll collaborate closely with account managers, content writers, web developers, and the broader marketing team. Ideal candidates have deep knowledge of SEO best practices, a sharp analytical mindset, and the ability to guide both strategy and execution across channels.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and oversee holistic SEO strategies aligned with client business goals and KPIs
  • Guide keyword research, topic cluster creation, and optimization plans for blogs and landing pages
  • Identify new opportunities for organic growth through competitor audits, performance data, and trend analysis
  • Oversee on-page and off-page SEO execution (e.g., content updates, internal linking, technical SEO, link building)

Team Oversight & Workflow Management

  • Assign and manage SEO-related tasks across internal team members and external vendors
  • Review and approve deliverables including keyword maps, content briefs, and on-page recommendations
  • Lead internal SEO check-ins and contribute to broader campaign planning with account and content teams
  • Ensure process consistency across clients and maintain quality control of all SEO deliverables

Technical SEO & Platform Configuration

  • Perform and delegate technical audits for site performance, crawlability, schema markup, site speed, etc.
  • Oversee setup and maintenance of GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Monitor and troubleshoot indexing issues, metadata optimization, and structured data implementation

Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

  • Build and manage SEO performance dashboards in Google Data Studio, Ahrefs, and Agency Analytics
  • Set up tracking for organic KPIs using GA4 and GTM
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual SEO performance reviews and present key insights to internal stakeholders
  • Recommend strategic adjustments based on data trends and campaign outcomes

Cross-Channel Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the content, email, and social teams to ensure a cohesive digital presence and voice
  • Provide SEO insights to inform paid, social, and email campaigns where applicable
  • Ensure content calendars reflect SEO priorities and topical relevance

Personal Attributes & Qualifications

Essential

  • 4+ years of professional SEO experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or strategic role
  • Proven track record of improving organic rankings and traffic across multiple websites
  • Hands-on experience with GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, and WordPress
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Experience managing contributors or direct reports in SEO or content roles
  • Understanding of how SEO integrates with content, email, and social strategies

Desirable

  • Experience with eCommerce or local SEO
  • Familiarity with technical SEO tools and schema configuration
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, HubSpot, or Moz
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for troubleshooting or QA
  • Experience in a digital agency or multi-client setting
