Immediate opening for a Senior Software Engineer (GUI) in Irvine, CA who possesses:

• Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or related preferred)
• 5+ years' experience designing and implementing GUI elements
• 5 years' experience using C++ or similar

FULL DESCRIPTION:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Responsible for system integration and testing.
• Provide guidance and leadership to subordinates. Lead a small team of designers in generating the software design solutions.
• Administrate and maintain Analytical software tools and provide training and instruction.
• Assist with customer and certification interface regarding technical and design aspects.
• Generate software requirements, test procedures, code, test, and verification.
• Software and documentation review.
• Ensure all contractual guidelines related to software development are followed.
• Responsible for system integration and testing.
• Project status reporting as required.
• Knowledge of Hardware and Software Interface.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages like C++, JavaScript, or Python.
• GUI Frameworks: Experience with GUI frameworks like Qt, Tkinter, or other relevant technologies.
• User Interface Design: Understanding of GUI design principles and best practices.
• IBM Rational DOORS Software Tools experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Ethernet and PCI express protocols is highly desirable.
• Other duties as required.

The selected candidate will also possess:

• Minimum Educational Requirements - 4 years accredited college degree - BSEE
• Minimum Years Experience - 7 years with embedded processor and programmed devices in the avionics field.
• Technical Training Required - Software lifecycle knowledge required.
• Other Requirements - Ability to work with all levels of personnel. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Computer Requirements - Above-average computer skills required.

Salary Range: $90k-$120k/yr
