Qualifications:

Education:

  • Degree in Engineering / Construction Management / Architecture; or equivalent degree.

Experience:

  • 5 + years of relevant experience in Construction Consulting / AEC industry
  • Commercial Real Estate Development / Lending knowledge a plus

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance/quality control processes and technical report writing
  • Strong working knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Proven ability to train, mentor, and support technical staff
  • Advanced time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines, coordinate across teams, and maintain focus on quality in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite

Other Requirements:

  • Mastery of the English language – written and spoken
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and/or tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a regional or multi-office consulting environment.

Responsibilities:

The Regional Technical Lead position is responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, consistency, and quality of deliverables within their designated region. This role serves as a subject matter expert and key resource for technical training, quality assurance, and ongoing support to regional staff. The Regional Technical Lead plays a critical role in onboarding and developing regional team members, maintaining high standards of performance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of work product templates and processes. This position works closely with the National Technical Director to align regional practices with national objectives.

In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to complete special projects as assigned by the management team; build and establish relationships with colleagues and existing and potential clients; promote a positive attitude and willingness to learn; adapt and overcome challenges; develop their individual strengths and abilities to foster career growth.

  • Provide technical quality control (QA/QC) oversight of regional deliverables to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of work products and offer constructive feedback to improve quality and consistency within the region.
  • Support regional staff in resolving complex technical issues that arise during project execution.
  • Lead technical onboarding for new regional staff, ensuring smooth integration into project standards and workflows.
  • Assess training needs of regional staff and recommend or develop targeted training programs to address knowledge or performance gaps.
  • Collaborate with the National Technical Director and other leaders to create, implement, and improve training programs and technical tools.
  • Support broader company technical initiatives and help implement national strategies at the regional level.
