The Opportunity Adept Group is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer (1099 Contractor) to add to our team in Chicago, IL! This candidate would have full packaging development experience in the Food & Beverage, CPG, or Pharmaceutical industries. This person must have experience with plastic bottle and mold qualification. This is a hybrid (3 days per week onsite) 1099 Contractor (Independent Contractor) opportunity for 3 months at 40-hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate line trials. New innovative packaging projects. Packaging development projects. Day to Day: Field technical calls. Lead discussions with suppliers. Prepare and review technical documents for labs. Participate in calls with international production teams. Requirements: ~ Located in Chicago, IL and be open to working 3 days per week onsite. ~4 - 10 years of packaging engineering experience. ~ Plastic bottle and mold qualification experience. ~ Food & Beverage, CPG, or Pharmaceutical experience.
