Job Description

The Opportunity:

Provide full 360° strategic account management and analysis for Macy’s Omni-Channel business, with a focus on both new and proven opportunities. This includes comprehensive promotional planning by tactic—Scent, Print, Social, Digital, Loyalty, Events, Visual Weeks, In-Store Visual Statements, Launch Planning, .com Planning, and more. This role supports the Senior Key Account Director across Men’s Fragrance brands and Carolina Herrera Makeup, with the objective of maximizing ROI and achieving both retail and gross margin targets. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to gather insights and drive innovative strategies to grow the business. Key competencies include negotiation, multi-tasking, strategic thinking, initiative, creativity, and strong teamwork. A background in retail and vendor relations is highly preferred.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Support the Senior Key Account Director in driving growth for Men’s Fragrance at Macy’s through sales planning, promotional execution, and strategic account management
  • Lead CO-OP advertising planning, negotiate tactics aligned with sales and ROI goals, and manage advertising components including proofs, contracts, Return to Vendor, markdowns, visuals, and employee discounts
  • Prepare and share weekly sales reports, performance insights, and rankings in collaboration with the Women’s Fragrance Senior Key Account Manager
  • Maintain the Omni-Channel planning file and partner with cross-functional teams on seasonal sales plans, brand forecasts, allocations, and order flows
  • Collaborate with Marketing, E-Commerce, and Retail teams on brand launches, digital strategies, .com exclusive opportunities, and in-store/digital events
  • Assist with gross to net reconciliation, PO tracking, and ORV recaps; liaise with Sales Operations and Customer Service for accurate data flow
  • Support Macy’s Vision Plan by coordinating internal strategy alignment, facilitating steering meetings, and co-developing long-term growth plans
  • Manage regional and door-level stock needs for events and opportunities; distribute POs for GWPs and collateral, and monitor flow
  • Conduct bi-monthly meetings with regionals to share business updates, gather field insights, and align competitive opportunities
  • Recap Visual Week performance, review ROI, and contribute to seasonal tracking and field planning
  • Liaise with Demand Planning and Sales Operations on Rubi sales, inventory, PID accuracy, and Affinity setup
  • Provide strategic planning support to Macy’s and Puig teams, including forecasts, Portal reports, and consumer data-driven recommendations
  • Identify and implement opportunities for PID/brand expansions, stock adjustments, and programming optimizations (scent, sampling, digital, catalog)
  • Coordinate sampling programs and contracts with the .com team, and maintain regular contact with Macy’s Planning and Buying via bi-weekly meetings

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the beauty or retail industry
  • Excellent analytical and retail math abilities
  • Experience working with major department store retailers or vendors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations
  • Microsoft Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, raw data

Compensation:

As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $130,000.00 - $140,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
