Job Description

Kastner, is looking for a Senior Brand Manager (Senior Account Manager) for our Culver City, CA office to work on Red Bull business. We are the global creative agency for the Red Bull brand .

 

As Senior Brand Manager, you will play a key role in the management of client projects. The perfect candidate goes beyond account management skills – this person must also be a creative thinker.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Lead the management of client projects, and work with the Brand Director to guide the strategic vision for long-term brand building.
  • Drive development of above-the-line projects (OOH, Broadcast and Digital), in-store point-of-sale, print collateral, and on-site branding from concept to post-event.
  • Develop an understanding of the client’s business, markets and brand in order to consistently deliver innovative strategic and creative insight, including generating new event ideas and marketing solutions.
  • Monitor agency/client procedures and ensure all team members follow proper processes.
  • Develop and maintain solid relationship with clients.
  • Develop and present internal creative briefs for client projects.
  • Present campaign ideas and recommendations alongside Brand Director and other agency colleagues.
  • Production schedule ownership from creation to final asset delivery and act as the central communicator for all departments.
  • Collaborate with client and media agency to create effective marketing solutions that meet brand standards.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Brand Management team members working on similar projects for other regions (projects) nationally and globally.
  • Educate and on-board new clients as to agency’s role as global marketing agency and process to generate breakthrough work.
  • Prepare budget/billing recaps.
  • Prepare weekly status reports and lead status meetings.
  • Constantly monitor trends and emerging technologies and how they could enhance the client’s business, as well as serve as potential clients for agency.
  • Oversee preparation of necessary follow-up materials to all meetings (i.e., contact reports).
  • Help develop internal processes to increase agency efficiency.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • 4 - 6 years of ad agency experience in account service.
  • Bachelor degree or higher.
  • Strong project management, communication and client relationship skills.
  • Previous experience working with media agency and/or media department developing media plans.
  • Full understanding of print, broadcast and interactive development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive team player who can work independently, multi-task and think quickly on his/her feet. 
  • Fits with agency and client culture – passionate, energetic, innovative, curious, non-conformist, and creative.
  • Willingness to train others on the team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all team members, whenever mobile or away from the office.
