Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated social worker to support students in a dynamic PreK-8th grade school environment located in Joliet, IL. This role involves working full-time with a focus on providing essential social work services to students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or relevant field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a social worker.
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide counseling and SEL (Social Emotional Learning) lessons.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 30 minutes of social work services to each student as outlined in their IEP.
• Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students requiring social work.
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and parents to support student needs.
• Create and implement weekly SEL lessons in classrooms to promote emotional well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
