Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A professional Social Worker position is available supporting K-12 students within a school setting located in Greencastle, IN. This full academic school year contract role involves delivering comprehensive social work services designed to support students well-being, academic success, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support plans.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and referral services as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements.
• Provide advocacy and resource linkage for students facing socio-economic barriers.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW) from an accredited program.
• Valid state social work licensure or certification, if applicable.
• Experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and guidelines affecting school social work practice.
