Akkodis is seeking a Process Engineer II for a 6 Months contract position with a client located in Fremont, CA. Ideally looking for applicants with a strong working knowledge minimum 3+ years of industry experience (robotics, micro-mobility, autonomous vehicles, automotive) comes as a plus. Job Title : Process Engineer-II Location : On-site in Fremont, CA (Stewart Ave Fremont, CA, USA) Duration : 6 Months Pay Range: $45/hr - $48/hr on w2 (without benefits), the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location and other factors. Responsibilities: Develop and manufacture a new autonomous delivery robot platform. Collaborate with Hardware Engineering and Technician teams to prepare for launch. Ship tangible products impacting a billion-dollar business. Scale and sustain manufacturing of next-generation delivery robots. Work in a small team with cross-functional collaboration across disciplines. Manage day-to-day production. Respond to quality issues on the frontline. Ensure component traceability for product shipments. Interface with Design-Responsible Engineers (DREs) to bring products to reality. Maintain documentation for efficient and repeatable manufacturing processes. Qualifications: ~ BS or MS in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. ~3+ years of industry experience (robotics, micro-mobility, autonomous vehicles, automotive). ~ Experience supporting production lines with operators and technicians. ~ Strong communication and documentation skills. ~ Experience in setting up quality control. ~ Familiarity with complex electromechanical systems. ~ Passion for building robots and autonomous vehicles.
