Retail Marketing Manager

Glendale, CA (On-site)

Job Overview

The Marketing Manager of POP MART North America is an important role in connecting brand and sales to help our brand and products reach the target audience with high ROI. This role will work closely with the Brand Team, IP/Product Team, Retail Team, and Visual Merchandising Team to deliver higher brand exposure and sales in not only stores, pop-ups or conventions. This role requires staying informed about North American markets as well as trends of genZ.

What You Will Achieve

1. Store-level promotions/activities

-Design and conduct store-level promotions and activities to drive traffic / sales as well as to tell brand stories

-Work with visual merchandising team to make sure the in-store displays tell the brand and IP stories

2. Offline pop up and conventions

-Cultivate relationship with landlord and explore opportunities of brand exposure in retail spaces by multiple formats (including but not limited to pop-ups, offline exhibition, digital marketing exposure etc.)

-Perform end-to-end planning and execution of trade shows to increase brand awareness and generate leads

3. Key Product Release/Product GTM

-Work closely with IP, branding and sales teams to develop key messaging and integrated sales marketing initiatives for key product release

-Identify the best GTM model for different products

-Conduct and evaluate the result of key product release and help establish differentiators and positioning for products and IP

-Build up a North America related and competitive product assortment together with IP and product team based on historical data analysis and market trends diagnosis

4. Other Sales & Marketing Roles:

-CRM: Work closely with CRM analytics team to develop CRM initiatives to drive user growth and stickiness to our brand

-Omni-channel campaigns: design and provide guideline for all channels around key festivals in North America

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marketing or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of retail marketing, or product marketing, preferably in the apparel&beauty industry
  • Understanding or experience of consumer goods market in North America
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proven track record of leading a team to execute successful retail marketing
  • Basic metrics-driven and analytical skill
  • Ability to develop, organize, and maintain processes with cross-function teams
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and strong time management to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Enjoys working in a collective and cross-team capacity, preferably in a start-up environment
