We serve as a trusted advisor and partner to leading business executives, entrepreneurs, and leaders across finance, technology, media, entertainment, sports, education, public affairs, philanthropy, and other industries.

We are looking for a highly motivated Public Relations Account Manager to be based in our New York office.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of ongoing engagements and projects for both organizations and individuals, focusing on corporate communications, media relations, crisis and reputation management, litigation support, and more, as well as be an important contributor to our Company’s overall growth and culture.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as main day-to-day support and assist with growing client accounts
  • Report to Team Director and liaise between senior and junior staff to ensure proper delegation of tasks for accounts and junior executives on a range of clients and industries, with a particular emphasis on corporate entertainment, film, and television, and other areas
  • Draft and edit client materials including press releases, fact sheets, Q&As, pitch letters, bios, activity reports, internal and external memos, media results reports or summaries, and client recommendations
  • Independently develop media pitches and secure relevant opportunities and results, as well as support on responding to inbound media inquiries for clients
  • Moderate media interviews and support media events, media training, project briefings, and media tours as well as represent clients and projects at industry conferences and events
  • Analyze media coverage and create meaningful insights
  • Establish and manage relationships with reporters at the national, regional, and local level
  • Act as a mentor for designated direct reports, identifying goals and providing guidance and feedback on performance during management sessions
  • Participate in new business pitches including research, brainstorms, and presentations

What we’re looking for:

  • 3-5 years experience in Public Relations
  • Strong understanding of traditional and non-traditional PR strategies and tactics
  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Self-starter and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines, and driving projects across the finish line
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization
  • Digital and social media savvy a plus
