Sanford Clinic Worthington is looking to add two Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine physicians to its primary care group. The group consists of 2 Family Medicine physicians, 2 Ob/Gyn physicians, 1 Rad/Onc, 2 General Surgeons, 2 Pediatricians, 2 Orthopedic Surgeons, 4 Emergency Medicine physicians, and 2 Hospitalists, along with various Advance Practice Providers. No call required. Sanford Worthington Clinic is a Certified Medical Home with a Health Coach and a Behavioral Health Therapist embedded in the clinic. Multiple specialists are available via on-site or telemedicine (cardiology, vascular surgery, oncology, nephrology, physical medicine, ENT, and many more). Internal Medicine Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examinations, admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultative services to adolescent and adult patients with common and complex illnesses, diseases, and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, and genitourinary systems. Qualifications include M.D. or D.O. degree, successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program accredited by ACGME, AOA, or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada, and certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board. Experience requirements vary depending on residency completion and clinical activity. The position is J1 and H1B visa eligible.
