We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Technologist to join our Packaging Development team.As a Packaging Technologist, you will assist in packaging design, testing,
analysis, and documentation efforts that support product launches, cost-savings initiatives, and sustainability goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Packaging Specification Management:
• Update Bill of Materials (BoM) for packaging material changes through internal processes and systems.
• Update Customer Portal with relevant, aligned packaging information.
• Maintain database of packaging specifications, dyeline, compliance letters, supplier plant certifications.
• Prepare packaging material-related reports for reporting on EPR’s and various packaging-related regulations.
• Provide information in the customer survey forms and Technical Sheets for packaging.
• Help build, maintain, regularly update sustainability reporting database.
Packaging Development:
• Assist in packaging material testing, line trials, and compatibility studies.
• Perform data collection and analysis from packaging tests.
• Help identify opportunities for packaging improvements related to cost, sustainability, and performance.
Key Qualifications:
• Completed a bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field in Packaging from a recognized University or College
