Job Title: Family Law Legal Assistant

Location: Seattle, WA

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year

LHH seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Law Legal Assistant to join our client’s team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will manage multiple family law cases efficiently, support attorneys with case preparation, and ensure that all legal documentation and deadlines are meticulously handled.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and prioritize multiple family law cases effectively.
• Oversee attorneys’ dockets and ensure adherence to case schedules, including timely confirmation of motions.
• Coordinate discovery production and manage all related documentation.
• Organize materials and prepare for extensive motions practice, mediation, and trials.
• Assist attorneys in case preparation for filing, mediation, settlement, and trial.
• Maintain high attention to detail while prioritizing tasks and meeting strict deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in family law.
• Strong knowledge of court procedures, motions practice, and case management.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in legal research and document management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team of attorneys.
• Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
