About the Role: Seasonal Banquet Server

The Banquet Server plays a crucial role in ensuring that events hosted at Ashland Hills F&B are executed flawlessly, providing an exceptional dining experience for guests. This position involves setting up banquet rooms, serving food and beverages, and attending to the needs of guests throughout the event. The Banquet Server is responsible for maintaining a high standard of service, which directly impacts the reputation of our establishment in the real estate development and management industry. Attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential, as the server will be the face of our service during events. Ultimately, the success of each banquet relies heavily on the professionalism and efficiency of the Banquet Server, making this role vital to our operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in banquet serving or catering.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Must have Food Handlers and O.L.C.C. Permits.
  • Certification in responsible beverage service.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Assist in the breakdown and cleaning of banquet areas after events.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests to ensure a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth service during events.

Attention to detail is crucial, as the Banquet Server must ensure that all aspects of the dining experience meet high standards.
