Job Description

We’re looking to hire an experienced interior designer to join The Workroom Interiors team! Our designers manage multiple projects from start to finish under the direction of our co-founder and principal designer Jennifer Tidwell. Our ideal candidate will be detail oriented with strong communication skills. He/she will be proficient in AutoCAD and be up to date with the latest finishes that are trending in the industry.

You will create, manage and implement every step of client projects to ensure that the project runs smoothly - sourcing products and materials, communicating with vendors and contractors, creating mood boards for design presentations, problem solving, and project installations. We have a very fast-paced environment and expect a high level of work from our team. We want someone who enjoys collaborating with other designers on the team and has the ability to lead projects and manage a design assistant and/or junior designer on the team.

Here is what we are looking for:

• 4-5 years of interior design experience ideal.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong communication skills to consult directly with vendors and clients.
• Strong knowledge of trade resources.
• Source products and materials for design presentations.
• Manage client profiles and product selection in IVY application.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Confidence and ability to communicate your ideas clearly.
• Strong leadership and self-motivation.
• The ability to work as a team.
• A great attitude and willingness to learn and take on any kind of project for the design and retail side of the business.
• Commitment- Full-time position - 40 hour a week commitment. Typical hours 9-6pm.
