Job Description

EMIT Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales & Inventory Specialist to join the team at our Warehouse in Midland, TX. This role is responsible for cultivating and managing customer relationships while advocating on their behalf within the company. This role involves working collaboratively with internal teams and responding to customer needs by making informed decisions within defined parameters. The position is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes, inventory management, and warehouse tasks.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and continuous communication to address their needs and concerns.
  • Sales & Order Support: Handle pricing inquiries, product delivery questions, quote requests, and sales orders while ensuring timely and accurate order processing.
  • Problem Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and escalating to appropriate parties when necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, conduct routine counts, and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure stock availability and timely product delivery.
  • Warehouse Operations: Perform hands-on warehouse tasks, including pulling, packing, and shipping parts while maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as account managers, project managers, and service teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Maintain a strong customer focus in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, meeting and exceeding customer requirements.
  • Adaptability: Quickly respond to unplanned situations, making quick decisions and adjustments as needed to resolve issues and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies, including safe driving, background checks, and drug testing.
  • General Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing quotes, maintaining customer records, and supporting other business operations as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in industries such as oil & gas, power, heavy equipment, or automation & controls.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal), including proficiency in phone, email, and Teams communication.
  • Excellent active listening, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to quickly respond to changing circumstances and resolve unexpected challenges.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Safe driving history and ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.]
