Job Description

Position Summary: The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the effective management and maintenance of Paylocity, our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role involves optimizing the HR system, ensuring data accuracy, generating reports, and providing insights to support HR initiatives and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support Paylocity, ensuring data integrity, system security, and consistent processes.
  • Perform system configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting to optimize Paylocity performance.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to identify and implement system improvements and new functionalities within Paylocity.
  • Generate and analyze HR data and reports from Paylocity, providing insights and recommendations to HR and management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable data privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Train HR staff and end-users on Paylocity functionalities and best practices.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HRIS-related projects, including system upgrades and new module implementations within Paylocity.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR data in Paylocity to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate data transfer and resolving any discrepancies within Paylocity.
  • Stay current with HRIS industry trends and developments to ensure Paylocity remains up-to-date and effective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HRIS Analyst or in a similar role, with specific experience in Paylocity.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data management principles.
  • Proficiency with Paylocity and its various modules.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
