Job Title: Grassroots Marketing Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Marketing
About the Role:
Responsible for growing sales by developing and implementing engaging, community-driven marketing initiatives that build brand awareness, generate leads, and drive traffic. Person will manage all things grassroots, from planning and executing events to building relationships with key stakeholders and influencers.
Supports: All brands (Lone Star Market, Lone Star Petroleum, Allied Buying Group, ARM Metal Recycling)
Responsibilities:
Local Store Outreach :
Research and identify potential outreach opportunities aligned with brand goals and target audience.
Develop and execute outreach program, tracking distribution, contact and follow up with all entities; keep log of meetings and follow up; review weekly with director.
Develop and implement impactful grassroots campaigns, including events, sponsorships, partnerships, and influencer collaborations.
Manage all aspects of outreach, including logistics, budgeting, communication, and reporting.
Event Management:
Plan and execute engaging grassroots events, ensuring smooth operation and brand consistency.
Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor contracts, staffing, and promotional materials.
Create a positive and memorable experience for attendees.
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and influencers within the target community.
Data & Analytics:
Track and analyze campaign performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Report on campaign results to internal stakeholders and develop recommendations for future initiatives.
Staying on Top of Trends:
Stay up-to-date on the latest grassroots marketing trends and best practices.
Research emerging platforms and technologies for potential integration into campaigns.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in marketing or event management.
● Strong understanding of grassroots marketing principles and best practices.
● Excellent organizational and project management skills.
● Creative and resourceful, with the ability to think outside the box.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
● Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
● Experience with event planning and execution.
● Proven track record of success in grassroots marketing campaigns.
● Knowledge of the target market and industry.
● Strong analytical and reporting skills.
