Position Title: Carpenter

Wage: $28.00 - $40.00/Hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Residential, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Commercial; Monday - Friday

Carpenter Responsibilities:
- Finish trim work, baseboard, casing, crown moulding, pre hung doors, steel frame doors, and hanging drywall
- Work from sketches and drawings, as well as verbal and written descriptions of what’s required, to complete the job to the right specifications

Requirements for Carpenter:
- At least 5 years of previous experience
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Driver’s license
- Must have personal basic hand tools required to accomplish general tasks
- Able to use common hand tools and power tools
- Good problem-solving skills and common sense
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Able to take measurements and make calculations
- Able to use logic not only to solve problems but also to foresee them before they occur
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Able to reach overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull object(s) weighing up to 100 pounds
- Able to climb ladders and work from heights as necessary
