Minimum Requirements:
- Eighteen (18) years of age or older
- Proven experience (personal or professional) in livestock rearing, animal handling, farming, or similar field that involves dealing with large number of animals
- Valid driver's license to drive and operate company vehicles, such as tractors, box trucks, and flatbeds
Preferred (not required):
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and / or construction skills
Job Duties:
- Daily activities will include insect-rearing operations, food waste milling and mixing, vehicle and lift operations, equipment maintenance, various project support tasks, and garden work
- Scoop bugs, feed bugs fermented food waste, roast bugs, and bag up bug feces by the metric ton
- Cleaning duties to ensure safety and sanitation practices and protocols are met by United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) guidelines and standards
- Comprehend and follow both written and verbal direction, including basic math calculations and fundamental technical knowledge, at a level to effectively perform tasks
- Lift and maneuver sixty (60) pounds of insects and insect trays throughout the day
- Stand the entire work shift
- Work autonomously and as a team in a fast-paced environment
- Meet productivity expectations, organize tasks, and manage time effectively
- Use computers to enter data and fill out spreadsheets
- Forklift operating and other logistics
- Utilize industrial machines
- Perform any other duties as assigned

- Work site is off gravel road and in rural area in McMinnville

Wages- Hours -Benefits:
- $18 to $22 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
- 5 days in a row schedule, 8 hrs. per day/40 week, including weekends
