About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Nursing Critical Care to provide strategic leadership and oversight of critical care services across its hospital campuses. This role requires a strong focus on patient safety, quality, and evidence-based nursing practices. The Executive Director will also be accountable for personnel management, resource allocation, fiscal management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Building and maintaining strong relationships with the nursing executive committee and fostering a culture of professional growth and accountability are key aspects of the position.

Candidates for the Executive Director, Nursing Critical Care role at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in nursing, with a graduate degree in a relevant field preferred, and hold a current RN license in the state of Florida. Professional Nursing Certification is required within two years of employment. The ideal candidate will have 7-9 years of nursing experience, including management and a background in critical care, particularly in cardiothoracic surgery. Leadership skills in human resource management, program development, and fiscal management are essential. The role demands an individual who is adept at performance improvement, effective in high-stress situations, and can foster interdisciplinary team relationships.
