Job Description

Delphi Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of patient-centered care in the emergency department.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to formulate treatment plans.
  • Perform necessary medical procedures and administer treatments as indicated.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them regarding their care and treatment options.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of patient safety and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Mentor and collaborate with APPs and other healthcare staff to enhance care delivery.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine is required.
  • Active medical license to practice in the state of New York.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an emergency medicine setting preferred.
  • Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications are required.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in high-stress environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to collaborative care.
  • Dedication to professional development and staying current with advancements in emergency medicine.
