The role you’ll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

EKG Technician performs inpatient and outpatient 12 Lead electrocardiograph recordings, holter/event monitor placement/ scanning as needed, and treadmill stress testing along with related documentation.

\n \n\n \n

• Confirms that appropriate patient information is present and complete prior to starting a procedure.
\n \n
• Confirms patient identification and understanding of procedure.
\n \n
• Performs thorough and accurate routine and emergency EKGs as ordered by physician.
\n \n
• Presents all STAT EKGs to RN immediately after completion.
\n \n\n \n\n

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Required qualifications:

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• High School Diploma or GED, successful completion of established EKG exam during orientation or within 6 months, and annually thereafter
\n \n
• Previous patient care experience; on the job training
\n \n
• Current BLS certification required from American Heart Association
\n \n\n \n\n
