Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead industrial project designs across multiple disciplines, including mechanical, piping, civil, structural, electrical, and HVAC systems. The role involves managing design teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and coordinating with vendors and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the entire design process, ensuring compliance with ASME, API, NFPA, ANSI, ISO, and OSHA standards.
• Work with project managers and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and approve design specifications, drawings, and calculations.
• Conduct design reviews, HAZOP studies, and risk assessments.
• Manage vendor relationships, approve technical specifications, and support procurement.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and site visits.
• Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Ensure all designs meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee quality control, conduct design audits, and improve engineering practices.
• Maintain project documentation and report design progress to senior management.

Key Skills:

• Expertise in mechanical, piping, civil, structural, HVAC, and electrical design for industrial plants.
• Strong knowledge of rotating/static equipment, process piping, and plant layouts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PDMS, Smart Plant 3D, Revit, and BIM tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and team management skills.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors.
