Job Description

Bertke Electric, a leader in commercial and industrial electrical contracting since 1928, is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to join our Cincinnati-based team. This position involves handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, receiving, and maintaining warehouse equipment. Warehouse Technicians are responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of products in and out of the facility while adhering to safety and organizational standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Material pickup and delivery
• Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks using pallet jacks, or other equipment. Ensure proper handling and storage of all goods.
• Daily issuance of material/equipment as directed and other duties as assigned
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and organizing materials.
• Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Identify and mitigate potential hazards in the warehouse.
• Work closely with warehouse supervisors, managers, and other team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.
• Execute deliveries in a safe a timely manner.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Must be 21 years of age or over

· Must be able to pass a background check, MVR and drug screen

· MUST have a clean driving record (minimum of 3 years)

· Valid Driver’s License

· Knowledge in the Electrical field is preferred.

· Must be able to lift more than 70 lbs.

· Ability to maintain orderly inventory and workspaces.

· Capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.

· Collaborative attitude with strong communication skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
