A large Infrastructure client in Houston, Tx is looking for an Oracle Database Administrator to join their IT Infrastructure team. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days onsite, and 5 days onsite for the first month during onboarding. The salary ranges from $115,000 to $125,000 based on years of experience, and qualifications. This person will be working on a team of 5 other DBA's, 2 are oracle focused and 2 are SQL focused. The ideal candidate for this role with have experience with both Oracle and SQL databases to be able to contribute to both sides of the team.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
4+ Years of Experience as a DBA, with hands on experience with Oracle (Version 19c) and MSSQL (Versions 2016-2022)
Experience doing operational work related to health checks, instance caging, incident management, and service request management
Comprehensive knowledge of RMAN backup and recovery, failover switch over processes in Data Guard and non-Data Guard Environments , and Always On Failover processes
Experience monitoring database health and performance using Enterprise Manager (13c)
