Coordinator of Social Justice Ministries job at Holy Spirit Parish Stevens Point, WI, US

Job Description

Job Overview: A parish of 850 households on a university campus in central Wisconsin is looking a person to take our Social Justice Ministries from many good charitable works to working for the structural change Justice requires. Requirements

A living faith in Jesus Christ and the ability to share that faith with others.
A strong commitment to social justice and comfort working with diverse constituents.
At least two years experience organizing volunteers, teaching and empowering others to address community needs, and collaborating to meet a common goal.
A Bachelor's Degree, with an orientation toward religious studies, social work, or other related field..
A Master's Degree in Theology or related field preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in the use of technology for communicating.
A willing and compassionate team player.
Able to manage a very variable work schedule that will include evenings and weekends while keeping close to 20 hours a week.
