Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical, mechanical, and general contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for a Healthcare Superintendent in Tampa, FL.

HEALTHCARE CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The annual salary for the Healthcare Construction Superintendent is between $100,000 – $125,000+ , depending on experience, with total compensation including benefits, bonus, insurance, and other incentives far exceeding the stated salary.

HEALTHCARE CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Seeking a dynamic and experienced traveling superintendent to oversee the successful execution of new and renovation healthcare construction projects such as, medical office buildings, outpatient facilities, and equipment installations. This individual will lead field operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and scheduling standards while managing subcontractors and coordinating logistics across multiple states.

  • Enforce OSHA compliance and site-specific safety plans
  • Supervise all construction field efforts from preconstruction through closeout
  • Coordinate and lead weekly on-site meetings with subcontractors and vendors
  • Direct subcontractor performance to meet schedule, quality, and budget goals
  • Maintain and update field documentation, including daily reports and red-line drawings
  • Conduct punch list management using Procore or equivalent platform
  • Oversee field logistics, inspections, and interface with government entities
  • Participate in constructability reviews, site logistics planning, and scope buyout
  • Lead and mentor other field superintendents and staff
  • Maintain clean, professional, and well-organized job sites
  • Travel up to 75% across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions

HEALTHCARE CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–10+ years of superintendent experience in healthcare construction, with specific expertise in healthcare construction new and renovation, medical office buildings, outpatient facilities, and equipment installations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent field experience)
  • OSHA 30 certification (current or renewable)
  • ICRA certification and familiarity with local municipal permitting processes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficient with MS Office and construction software such as Procore
  • Ability to manage complex jobsite demands and problem-solve in real-time
  • Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments
  • Stable work history required

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certified
  • Procore certifications
