Job Description

Overview:
Looking for a NACE Level 3 with concrete coating experience and at least 15 years’ experience working as a Level 3. This position will require someone with extensive knowledge of concrete coatings and their respective failure modes and mitigation factors. This is a high level SME who has capabilities of determining contributing factors of concrete coating failures and developing repair plans.

Qualifications:
• Industry Experience: Proven track record in industrial construction or maintenance, ideally within the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors, with an understanding of complex project environments.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of surface preparation, paint and coating systems, and inspection techniques. Experience applying quality standards and codes relevant to protective coatings in industrial settings.
• Certification: Possess a valid NACE Coating Inspector Certification (NACE Level II or higher), with appropriate written and/or performance verification credentials.
• Analytical Precision: Demonstrated attention to detail, with the ability to identify non-conformities and assess compliance through methodical inspections.
• Physical Capability: Willing and able to perform physical tasks in varied industrial settings, including climbing, bending, and extended periods of standing.
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, providing clear and concise feedback to resolve issues constructively.
