Job Description

Randstad in partnership with Vanguard are currently seeking Compensation Analysts. In this role, you will support a wide array of compensation processes and projects. You will partner with our team of Compensation Consultants to evaluate roles, conduct compensation analyses, and provide guidance to business leaders. Your focus will include areas such as job evaluation, survey participation, compensation benchmarking, job change analyses, and year-end compensation. You will also help improve our compensation practices, guidelines, and procedures.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and excellent communication skills. You should be comfortable analyzing large datasets to find key insights and trends. Familiarity with job evaluations, salary structures, and market benchmarking is preferred. Experience with Workday is a plus, as you will support various compensation processes within the platform. Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work and customer service are important for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and performs job evaluations and annual salary review programs. Supports the development, implementation, and improvement of the job grading framework and its alignment to benchmarking.
  • Ensures the quality, integrity and timeliness of the department's reports and additional analytical needs as required.
  • Coordinates the resolution of issues raised by business leaders related to compensation programs and policies. Responds directly to leaders on these issues, and escalates issues as needed.
  • Reviews monetary transactions in the human resources system for adherence to policy guidelines and works with management to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. Ensures the accuracy of transactions and data related to compensation in the HRIS.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
