CNC Machinist - 3rd Shift

Eaton's EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a CNC Machinist for the 3rd shift. The core hours are 11:00pm to 7:30am. The hourly rate for this position is $29.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What You'll Do:

• Programs and sets up CNC machines using long hand G-Code, Mazatrol, Gibbs Cam, and other software
• Provides programming support on production jobs
• Prepares and operates CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Investigate quality problems relative to machining and provides technical direction to implement corrective action on defective tooling and/or improper manufacturing methods
• Understands specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applications must be US persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a US person as a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of LaGrange, NC (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certificate from college or trade school, such as a Journeyman certification in a machine related field
• Experience with programming languages G-Code, Mazatrol, and Gibbs Cam

Position Criteria:

• Must possess basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
• Knowledge of various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints
