Full Time Nights (12 hours)

Weekends (yes)

Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

Minimum Work Experience

  • Two or more years of recent RN experience preferred.
  • One year of hospital staff nurse experience required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.
  • Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after the hire date.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

 

Department/Unit Summary

  • 33 bed unit
  • 5-6 Patient Ratio (Days)
  • 6 Nurses and 3 C N A‘s with the same Ratio for night shift
