Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Silver Spring, MD. This is a 13 week contract position and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team in Silver Spring, MD. This is a contract for possible permanent position. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a key role in providing quality patient care by drawing blood samples for laboratory testing. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Draw blood samples from patients, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
· Ensure specimens are accurately prepared for testing.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procedures.
· Collaborate with a team to provide excellent patient service and uphold high standards of safety.
· Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions.
· Expected to perform up to 60 draws daily.
· Work in an Integrated Outpatient Program (IOP) / Patient Service Center (PSC) environment.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED.
· At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience, with pediatric and geriatric experience preferred.
· Medical certification or training in phlebotomy or related field.
· Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.

· Location: Silver Spring, MD
· Job Type: 13 weeks Contract
· Shifts: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday – Friday
· Pay Range : $700-$800 Weekly
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
