Job Title: Cable (Whip) Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Critical Coordination’s cable production operation to include the facilities, tools and equipment, material inventory, software system, logistics and resources.
  • Actively engage and assure the cable department’s adherence to Critical Coordination’s health and safety program standards.
  • Schedule, coordinate and supervise the cable production resources.
  • Participate first-hand in the production of cables.
  • Lead and participate in operational excellence activities. Set expectations for efficiency, continuously seeking ways to improve, streamlining operations and reducing downtime.
  • Set and balance the cost of material inventory. Maintain, monitor and proactively engage vendors to optimize raw material costs.
  • Develop customer relationships and an experience that retains their business.
  • Engage with the organization to prompt sales and ensure payments are received.
  • Maintain accurate production records and leverage management reports to understand the health of the cable production business.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in cable production.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with customers.
  • Experience in the application of process improvement methodologies.
  • Embodies dependability, consistency and leadership attributes.
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs, working with tools, standing for long periods of time.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in driving a forklift.
  • Has experience in working for a cable manufacturing company.
  • Experience with inventory management.
  • Proficient with production management software (i.e. ERPAG).
  • Comfortable with sales.

Salary Range: $65-$85K
