Role Overview

We are looking for a Support / Business Analyst to join a front-to-back project team within the Structured Equity Products division of a major US investment bank. The project focuses on an internal workflow application used by Sales and Trading desks for managing structured equity Notes.

You will act as a Level 2 Support Analyst with strong business acumen, ideally with experience or knowledge in equity (especially structured Notes). This is a hybrid role combining functional support , incident investigation , and business analysis .

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 application support for the Sales/Trading workflow tool used in structured equity issuance.
• Act as the first point of contact for production issues and functional questions from Sales and Traders.
• Investigate and analyze incidents, perform root cause analysis, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Write clear and detailed functional specifications for enhancements or bug fixes.
• Liaise with development teams and global stakeholders, particularly in Paris, to ensure proper resolution of issues and delivery of updates.
• Coordinate and validate production releases and participate in UAT testing when needed.
• Contribute to improving the support processes and documentation.
• Use SQL queries for data investigation and validation purposes (nice to have).

Profile

• 3+ years of experience in front office application support , business analysis , or middle office roles in Investment Banking .
• Solid understanding of structured equity products , with a focus on Notes and derivatives.
• Familiar with front office environments and interactions between Sales, Traders, and Structuring teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to investigate incidents and propose solutions.
• Experience working in agile and fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of SQL is a strong advantage.
